I have had the privilege to employ Robert Stokes Photography for 2 of my children’s weddings. I had a disastrous experience with a wedding photographer for my oldest daughter, Kristin’s wedding spending $1,000.00 for pictures that weren’t worth keeping. I knew of Robert from past experience from the Lake County Fair. He was the photographer for several years capturing great pictures of my kids and other fair exhibitors and their animals.
I was pleased to know he was available for my sons wedding. Robert was extremely professional, prompt, and has a great sense of humor. He was patient and very easy to work with. Everyone thought he was part of the family because he fit right in. I told him about Kristin’s horrible wedding pictures. He graciously offered to retake her picture in her wedding gown. He even brought her a lovely bridal bouquet. Those pictures really helped to capture at least a part of the wedding memories that were missed on her special day.
When my youngest daughter decided to get married there was not a doubt in my mind who I wanted for the photographer. When I called Robert, luckily he was available and made me feel like he was really happy to do the job. Due to unforeseen circumstances the wedding date had to be changed, fortunately Robert was able to reschedule for the new date.
Robert always kept in touch and would return my calls promptly. He arrived 2 hours before the wedding so we could get most of the pictures finished so the guests wouldn’t have to wait very long after the ceremony before the reception. We have a very large family and Robert was extremely helpful in getting all the people set up and to great pictures of everyone.
Robert is very organized and spends extra time to make sure we have an abundance of quality pictures to choose from. I have and would recommend Robert Stokes Photography to anyone who needs fabulous photographs for their special event...

My husband and I employed Robert Stokes as our wedding photographer in early September of 2004. Upon signing the agreement, we were pleased with the package compared with other competitors and felt we were getting our monies worth. However, as the wedding day approached we realized that we actually received much more than we paid for.
Robert was the most accommodating photographer I have ever had the privilege of working with. Having participated in several weddings previous to my own, I have worked with many who were adequate, but not Robert. He shot over a hundred engagement photos for my husband and me to choose from, he attended and shot the rehearsal dinner (which was not in the initial agreement) and as the clincher, he arrived at the wedding site two hours prior to the beginning of the ceremonies and stayed throughout the entire reception. Every time I looked around during the reception, he was right there, photographing each detail, using the journalistic style I had requested. The quality of my pictures are phenomenal and there are a thousand plus to choose from!
Robert not only provided outstanding service, he was also very personable and made the day enjoyable. He fit in very well with the wedding party and parents, and made everyone very comfortable from the beginning. He was prompt with returning phone calls, as well as developing the photos for us to preview. There is absolutely nothing negative that I could say about the experience & service Robert provided my husband and me during such an important day. I plan on employing Robert for all upcoming, important events in my life and would recommend him to anyone who wanted perfect, quality pictures with a personal touch...

My husband and I got married at the Lakeside Inn at Mount Dora. Mr. Robert Stokes professionalism and knowledge of the area where we wed was wonderful. He had photographed weddings at the Lakeside Inn prior to ours and that made me feel very comfortable as to he knew the right angles and timing for the different photos. As a professional wedding photographer, he is thorough in helping you get ready for the big day; he was on time and ready to shoot. He always answered any questions I had in a very timely manner, either by cell phone or email. He even made it to our wedding rehearsal to snap some shots of us practicing. His assistant was very helpful in arranging all the family photos after the ceremony; she helped us remember everyone that we needed to get photos of and helped figure out where we should all stand for the best possible picture.The albums I received after the wedding were amazing! I got to relive the whole day over again. The wedding photos are a huge part of your wedding and they allow you to relive every moment when ever you wish, just by opening the album. His photos were awesome; I know I will always cherish them. To All The Brides to Be and Grooms to Be:
My husband and I searched high and low for the perfect photographer, one that would take the time and help us through our big day. We were very lucky to have found Robert. Robert was very professional, helpful, friendly, can call any time person and that was what we were looking for.
We looked through many of the sample photos (which he included a CD of his work for us to take home to look at) and was very impressed, immediately booking Robert . We had priced some other photographers in the Orlando area and they wanted much more and for much less product.
Once we signed the agreement, Robert went right to work This was such a great help! I knew that I had chosen the perfect photographer, for my perfect day, and with him I had one less thing to worry about!
Robert helped with so much. He agreed to take our engagement photos anywhere we wanted to take them (and even kept an eye out on the weather for me!). He shot at least a hundred or so engagement photos, photographed the rehearsal and the rehearsal dinner, all at no extra cost! (Us Brides love to save!)
He was also very prompt for appointments, always answered my calls with any questions, and arrived the day of the wedding several hours before it was time to start the first photo shoot and stayed until the last guest left. He made me, my husband and everyone at the wedding very happy and comfortable. He was very easy to work with.
Choosing Robert was one of the best things I could have done! I couldn’t wait to get back from my honeymoon so I could see all the photos that he took. There were photos of everything and everyone. There wasn’t a minute missed. I can look back at all my photographs and feel like I am reliving our big day. If I would have known that the photographs would come out as well as they did, I would have saved my money and not hired a videographer.
Robert provided me and my husband exceptional service. I want to thank him for making our “Special Day” very special and memorable. That day will forever be treasured in our hearts and in our beautiful photographs that he took. I plan on hiring Robert for many more special occasions. We plan on using Robert for our 1 year photo’s and hopefully when we start our family. There will definitely be more work from Robert in the future for us!...
